 SCHOLARSHIP FUND
In 2008, Capture the Dream, Inc. started a Scholarship Fund to help remove one of the largest obstacles preventing students and adults from attending college, the high cost of tuition.
On average, tuition for higher education increases annually by 8% thereby effectively doubling the cost of tuition every nine years (FinAid.org 2009). As the price of college soars more students are left without the means to attend.
The CTD Scholarship Fund strives to correct the situation by offering two distinctive $1,000 scholarships: the Single Parent Scholarship and the Minorities in Leadership Scholarship. CTD chooses recipients based on a unique combination of leadership skills, financial need, community service, professional recommendations, academic performance, and personal growth. The scholarship fund is open to all U.S. residents who are enrolled or will be attending an institute of higher education.
