Help make the season bright for all families this Christmas. Adopt a low-income family in your community and give the gift of hope this year.

There is no greater gift than to help a family in need for the holidays. The Adopt a Family Program was created to assist families with their Christmas celebration.

Sign Up today with your co-workers your family, friends, or by yourself!

Two ways you can help:
1) Adopt a Family - Capture the Dream, Inc. will provide you with a Christmas wishlist from a family in need. The minimum purchase is (1) gift per family member.

2) Make a monetary donation - Capture the Dream, Inc. will purchase Christmas gifts on your behalf from a family's wishlist.

The final deadline to Adopt a Family this year is December 12th, 2008.
Christmas gifts* will be delivered to each family no later than December 21st. Note that all families will remain anonymous unless we are given permission to release their information. (*) Please do not wrap gifts.

Adopt a Family 2007 Recap

Last year, Capture the Dream, Inc. was able to supply more than $10,000 worth of gifts to low income families in the Bay Area ranging from clothes, hygiene products, appliances, linen, gift cards, and even brand new beds!

Safira, a single mother participant from the program writes:
"I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the help during the Holidays of 07.  I didn't know what I was going to do to make my kids Christmas wishes come true.  When I signed up for the Capture the Dream Program, I didn't know that I was going to get everything I had asked for plus more.  I only thought I was going to get one need and one want.  I didn't expect to be sleeping in my own bed instead of us sharing a twin mattress. 

I came out here with nothing and I ended up with a lot.  It really made me feel better about things that I had going on in my life.  Being a single parent is hard especially when you are somewhere where you have no family or friends.  I was so happy to see my kids smiling when they saw all the things that they had got for Christmas. 

I ended the year happy and it helped me to start the New Year out happy knowing that good things come to people who be patient and that never give up when things get really bad.  Capture the Dream is what you did for me and my family.  Thank you and please continue the foundation to help families in need."
