Join Capture the Dream, Inc. as we host our Second Annual DreamPack Campaign.
With the start of the new school year, families are spending a large amount of money on school supplies. With 657,232 individuals living in poverty in the bay area according to a Bay Area Census, students can’t afford the basic school supplies needed to begin their new school year. In addition, government school budget cuts result in less and less supplies purchased each year. Basic school supplies, clothes, and other necessities can cost up to hundreds of dollars per child per year. Capture the Dream, Inc. is hosting a DreamPack Campaign from July 1st to August 31st to provide Bay Area school children with essential tools for learning. We are fundraising to provide a backpack full of school supplies to local school children. Benefiting schools have been selected based on the number of youth participating in the government subsidized free lunch program that exceed the state average. Each DreamPack will be customized according to the child’s grade level.
What’s a DreamPack?
Please join us as we provide essential school supplies for Bay Area school children.
How can my child get a free DreamPack?
Capture the Dream, Inc. has already committed backpacks to local Bay Area schools in the area. If you would like to nominate your school for next year, please contact us.
Any remaining DreamPacks will be stored for the next year's campaign
or donated to individual school children in need. If you are from a
low-income household, simply fill in the required form fields and a
Capture the Dream, Inc. representative will contact you if a DreamPack
is available. Please fill out a separate form for each child.
Please note that requests for DreamPacks are processed in the order
that they are received. A submission of the above form does not
guarantee a DreamPack.
For additional questions on the program, please contact us.
